DEAR TEACHERS, LIBRARIANS, & OTHER ADULTS:
Fan Letters: Thank you for telling your students about my books. If an entire class is writing to me, please put all of their letters in one large envelope with a cover letter stating your name and the grade level of the students. I will write a letter to the entire class, trying to respond to all the questions students pose. Please don't forget to enclose an SASE (self-addressed, stamped envelope). Please allow a few weeks for the response because during the school year I am out of town a lot speaking at schools.
Books, bookplates, etc: If you send a book, bookplate, quilt square, or anything else to be autographed and returned, please make sure your SASE has sufficient postage.

Adults may contact me by e-mail, but I prefer that all students contact me by regular mail. Unfortunately, the main reason students contact me by e-mail is to ask me to do their homework for them. Ha-ha -- Gotta love 'em!!
